Alex has moved into Los Bex, and it's going well. We've been playing stacks of NBA 2K7, drinking cheap low-carb beer (relatively healthy, totally inoffensive and eight bucks less than the nearest competitor? Way to go, Maxim), and sporadically clearing out my old bedroom so he can move his stuff in properly (in the meantime, he's been sleeping on the couch).
The dust from moving caused my face to explode for a couple of days, so I drove down to Wollongong to drink some fresh air. My mum is in Berlin right now, so the house is free, bar two cats who seem happy sleeping belly-up in the sun all day. Four days ago I felt absolutely rooted, and now I feel so fresh and so clean. Fresh air is incredible. A beautiful view doesn't hurt either.
This afternoon I'm going to buy some ros and Hawaiian-Turkish food, and sit out on the deck.
Next week I'll: see a play or something with Gretel, drink with Cara (she's back from the UK), get in some hoops practice and a Ballerz session, hit it with Lindsey, and hopefully play some poker.
