Point One: i am currently in Windang, where it is extremely cold. Luckily, I have very hot magic beans to save me from Jack Frost's icy southside terrors. (You put the beans in the microwave and they come out sizzling hot and completely unedible).
Point Two: I saw Tim Freedman this evening, and it was very enjoyable. He performed at the Yallah Roadhouse (which is actually a roadhouse). He sang songs I love like Charlie No. 2, No Aphrodisiac and Blow Up The Pokies. He was very charming. He did not play Duffy's Song, which is a shame.
Point Three: My mum is officially graduating from medical school tomorrow. She's been an actual doctor for some time now, but now she gets to wear a square hat and eat free sandwiches provided by the university. Lots of people - some of whom I'm related to, some of whom I'm not - will go to dinner to celebrate the occasion. If anyone should suffer a pulmonary ebolism or a myocardial infarction, we won't be too concerned, because the good doctor is in the house (or, as the case may be, Thai restaurant).

Yay for rain - it's raining up here too. Just makes me want to be snuggled up in bed or prancing around uncaring in the rain rather than stuck in my office working away. Or looking at SG, whichever is the most accurate!!
