i've been going to the movies a lot lately. i usually watch a lot of movies at home, and rarely go to the theater, but i've been to 3 movies in the past 10 days. i highly recommend dodgeball, spiderman 2, and anchorman. dodgeball was hilarious (but i'm a huge vince vaughn fan so i'm a bit biased), spiderman 2 was fun, and anchorman was hilarious even despite the lack of a cohesive plot.


i also just finished reading grisham's latest, bleachers. it wasn't anything special. a little different for grisham, but not worth raving over.
now i'm reading invisible cities by italo calvino. it seems pretty good so far.


i want to be a ninja, but i think i need to slim down a little. just over this summer i've noticed that i'm developing a little belly action. it's hardly even noticable to other people yet, but everytime i look in the mirror or sit down and look at my stomach it feels like i'm crazy fat.
i think it's my complete lack of activity for the past 2 months. that and the 1/2 gallons upon 1/2 gallons of ice cream i've been eating.


now time to go write some music. or rock. or whatever.

i put up a midi of a song from my ska band two years ago. no vocals during the verse, but it's still a feel good tune.
