At first it sucks to become aware. You realize how shitty you actually are and then you think of how much better you could be. Afterwards though, it still sucks because you either accomplish more to satisfy or stay the same miserably.

I feel like a child opening my eyes to see the world for what it is, even though I've been listening to it my whole life. I'm putting images with the sounds. Crashes with faces. Who's been doing what to whom is now apparent instead of just hearing about it.

I can see them walking up behind my family with knives in hand. I'm still to scared to fight though, I don't know how. I've never learned. Hopefully now with my eyes open I can observe and learn.

Politics is life. You either believe it, live it or are blind to it. It will touch you though like a ghost and you'll wonder what just happened. That's how you'll know its there.

30 years later down the road at a company you "hate" working for you'll become a CEO. How did life become so shallow? Your playing a game so stop listening and start looking. Who is manipulating who and who is manipulating you?

Open your eyes and realize you are not alone, unique or meaningful.
The truth is, you are easily replaceable.
