My friends are just as lost in apathy as me. They shout "Revolt!" from the top of there lungs as someone comes to drag them away, yet when untouched by society they waste away.

Hypocrits, or just plain lazy. It is a just feeling to oppose the oppressor, but how just can you feel when its done only in times of conviction?

Hopeless fighters well deserving punishment. Kicking and screaming only while being dragged off to be locked up...not one devotion to the cause they seem to preech when they are free. Liars, lazy and dumb.

Apathy has a way of nullifying everything...it appears okay because its not in your way. Despite what any fatalist or nihlist may say apathy is a counter emotion to deal with pain. It is only those who feel deeply that must choose not to feel at all. There is no other way for them to deal with that much passion devouring them.

"It feels like I'm a rotting corpse being torn apart by birds, unable to stop there feast, I close my eyes and think of nothing."

The tears dry up, my mind begins to justify, its okay...its they way things are meant to be. Just accept the fact that you can't do anything...It doesn't matter anyways...who cares? Why pretend to be part of them...Nothing matters...its all a lie...its okay now...there, you feel fine.

A constant denial of emotion in favor of being numb.
