My window was smashed and my stereo was stolen out of my car last night when my boy took my car to a concert downtown. So now there's glass all over my car, everywhere, so that's fun. They were actually rather thoughtful. The only thing touched was my window and my stereo. Even the area around the stereo was barely scratched. None of my 70+ CDs, sitting on the floor of my car were touched, or my tennis racket, etc., etc. I tried to file a police report this morning (I was under the impression I needed to do so to collect insurance), but instead I sat on hold for an hour and a half. I double checked w/ my insurance, and they said I didn't need to. So now I have to drive back to my mom's house on Wednesday (the car is registered in my mom's name) two hours away to get shit fixed. But I'm over it. My stereo really wasn't that great, and I'm fully covered, so with a $50 deductable, I get a new stereo and window. I'm just glad they didn't fuck up my door or anything.
On a brighter note, The Woodyz are playing at the VooDoo Lounge here in SF on Friday. They are a 50's cover band who dresses in campy drag for their shows. I've never actually seen them play, but I did kiss one of the cute girls in the band a couple of months ago, and have been meaning to check them out. You can find more information here http://www.craigslist.org/sfo/sfc/w4w/10240110.html Hope to see some of you there!

the news about your cd collection staying intact was the best I've heard all day. well, aside from the part when I remembered that I have to send off my tax return tomorrow...
