Home from Prom. Cold and exhausted. Ended up sharing a cab w/ two random strangers when our bus never showed up. But I had fun. It was a little sad that not only did I not get to go w/ my husband, but my "date" flaked on me at the last minute. But it was cool. Just wish I had had the balls to go talk to more people. 
I saw one SG (who will remain nameless), go up and demand a drink from someone who obviously didn't know her, and when he asked who she was, she said something along the lines of "I'm an SG, buy me a drink."
I was not impressed.
But most everyone else was super-nice, especially Neko and her sister, who gave me a ride there, and MisterSatan, who was very open and nice when I told him he reminded me of a friend of mine, which he apparently gets a lot. And thepromdate and McQueen who insisted I take their cell number in case I encounter any baddies on the way home. And kisses and hugs to everyone else who was kind enough to grace me with some of their time. And "Hi, I think you're cool," to all the people I was too intimidated to talk to
(like Fractal, Echo, and Olivia, who I've even met before, but still can't imagine that somebody as amazingly beautiful and cool as that would be interested in talking to me).
Drat, I wish I had somebody to make out with, and warm up my bed tonight.

i'm glad you made home ok. we left not too long after you and i got worried that we'd be half way home and you'd call. you looked darling and i love the new hair.
