A story from each of my jobs today. (Something to tide you over while I'm drinking my weight in midori sours in Reno this weekend!!
)
My first job is in a private residence where I'm a nanny for twin 20-month old boys who belong to the nicest (looking
) gay couple. So, the other day, the boys are down for a nap, and I'm done cleaning up, and I noticed they had put a new box of photos out on the bookshelf in the living room. I'm a little nosy, and I figured, if they put it in the living room, it must not be private. So I'm looking through the photos, which are mainly nice pics of the guys and their friends on vacation and stuff (they travel a lot). And then, randomly, is a picture of one of the guys naked
. Not like a sexy naked kind of picture, more like his partner called out his name, and snapped the pic as a joke (it's a side view). I don't think it belonged in that box. I found it kind of funny, and I also felt kind of bad. The guy would probably be so embarassed.
My other job is at an afterschool childcare program, where I work with the K-1 kids. And we have a couple of trouble kids in our class. One, in particular, is a kindergartener named Kevin, who just turned 5. Today he was running around the free play area, bothering people, and he jumped onto a couch and kicked a little girl in the head (accidently). I had already asked him not to run around, and after giving him several other choices that he refused to take, I decided he needed to come up front and sit with me. I had to pratically drag him the whole way, while he's kicking and screaming. He tried to kick me, grab/pinch me and bite me (getting a couple good mouthfuls of my sweater), and he SPIT on me, slapped and scratched my face. And called me names, including "ass motherfucker." Five year olds shouldn't know words like that. I eventually got him to settle down
, but, damn. That kid needs therapy.
Miss me while I'm in Reno, and wish me luck winning a million dollars in nickels.

When I was in H.S. a Girlfriend of mine and her bestfriend came over to my house and my Mother let them read one of my baby books. It seems that around 5years old I had a pretty strong grasp of most four letter words.. There was a disclaimer in the baby book where My moms says " I know that we have not used the best language around you " lol
Have fun.. I hope you win them nickels.
did i ever thank you enough for being the first to notice when my posts turned pink and announcing me on the limbo girls' page. that was so way cool that it was you
can't wait for you to come back. and re: the photo of naked guy: that makes me think about what someone in the future would think if they ever find the pics that i take at home and keep stashed in my closet.
