So, my mood has improved massively. Were you all impressed at my impromptu artwork? heh. I was impressed.
So, as of now, no new job.
Bastards from that interview on Wednesday never called me back. I think I jinxed it. But I have an interview with Good Vibes tomorrow that I'm very excited about. So, I'm keeping my fingers crossed.
In other news, the boy and I are *finally* getting our own place. We spent most of this weekend looking at apartments, at least one of which I feel just in describing as a crap-hole. But today I finally found a place I love. Not big, but not too small, a one bedroom, and the entire interior has been redone. New countertops, new fridge, new everything in the bathroom, brand new carpet, the whole nine. That's one of my favorite things about renting, is that you can have brand new shit ever year or so. The place even has a heated pool, and we get a parking space. All for within our price range. I'm very excited, and am turning in our applications first thing tomorrow. We could be moving as soon as the 15th. Here's hoping. This is such an exciting time.
Taking my little (14) brother to Disneyland. I really do. I have some really awesome memories at that place, including my high school grad night, which was a total blast. I know Disney is a big evil corporation, but I love them.
(For the record, I think the very best things they have ever done have really been the work of Pixar, but I also still pledge some loyalty to the golden era of Disney that occured during my youth, including Aladin and Beauty and the Beast.)
Hung out with the SGSF kids tonight for Burrito Monday. Fun times, fun times. I played bar curling (I think) with the radiant Midori. I really think she won, but was benevolent enough to call it a draw. It would have been nice to play some more, but a guy down at the other end of the table was really creeping us both out. Next time, Midori, the game is mine! /me cackles manically.

'Nother update: Screw phone interviews, I got the job at the school from "those bastards from Wednesday." I am so thrilled about this. It's a steady schedule, M-F 3:15-6:15, while the Good Vibes position was "flex staff" which I understood as "the bitch who fills in for everyone else, without a solid schedule." I am so excited. With my nanny position, I'll be making good money, and have an cool schedule. This not making enough money, needing another job thing was *really* stressing me out. But now-
