As to wines, actually I usually do not drink much when I'm traveling for work, particularly in a country that I do not speak the language. Safety first.
Of course Chile is not lacking for fabulous wines. The other down side is, I'm in Punta Arenas, so wine touring is not actually something that is available here.

For sure. I was mistaken for a hooker last year (though how in warehouse grungy clothing that can happen) and ran into an issue. It ended fine, but fuck man. Wait for the lovin til after I have had my first cup of coffee for the bloody day!
