Why are bikes soo damn expensive?? I mean im looking on craigslist and some used bikes on here are more expensive than some used cars!!! I dont have the money to buy a new bike, and it looks like ill still have to save to get a decent used one. Being 6'2" its not like i can just get any bike, i used to have a beginners mountain bike that you could pick up at GI Joes for 140.00, but the frame was too small and the tire diameter mix with low gears made it a pain in the ass to ride around town. Well i dont even have that piece of shit anymore since someone stole it in Eugene. If any bike riders out there have any input on where i can find a decent used bike for riding around the city, not really looking for anything crazy off road, please let me know. Im looking to spend not much more than 150 since im not getting the hours id like at work, and i still have monthly bills to pay.
