Happy New year! Last night Crusader1991 and I stayed indoors. He took me out to an amazing dinner and then we came home. We got into our PJ's and started looking online at cats. Just a few days ago we thought it would be nice to get a cat. So for hours we watched silly cat videos on youtube. This morning we looked on adoptacat.com and saw a Russian Blue we liked. So we called and left a message. About an hour later they called us back and said they can bring her over today. So now we are sitting here relaxing with our new Russia Blue kitty. I did not think I would have a cat this soon when I woke up this morning. Not sure what to name her. We were thinking Gaia. I will post pics and videos of her soon.

Russian Blue's have great personalities considering felines are so independent.
They seem to be quite loyal to their families smile
If you have any ? feel free, I work at a vet clinic.
Just remember, lot's of scratching toys and posts.
Especially the kitty towers made of carpet, hours of entertainment!!!

yea! congrats on the new kitty. What a cutie! Especially glad to hear you adopted. Our (mostly?) russian blue was also a rescue kitty & has turned out to be the most affectionate, funniest, lovable cat. Hope you guys get as much joy from your furry new addition to the "family!"
