A pretty uneventful week. Wrote a story for issue #2 of the horror/western anthology Western Tales of Terror, which will debut at ComicCon.

Found a feature idea I had outlined about a year and a half ago and put aside. Started working on that again.

I want to organize a screening for the movie in Beverly Hills - and need a bunch of 16-26 year olds to attend. Just have to figure out the best week night to do it. Then have to meet a bunch of 16-26 year olds who will commit.

Two girls I haven't seen in a while insisted that I make plans with them last week. Both of them stood me up. One of the nights - Memorial Day - I actually invited a buddy over because I expected her to bail, so no loss. No call from either one of them until Thursday, when they both said "Hey let's reschedule because I really miss you and want to see you." Perfect - because I love being an afterthought! Women don't surprise me anymore. Guess it's time to purge these particular two from my life.

Let's see -- to end on a positive note? Hmmm... another good review of The Black Forest at CHUD: Cinematic Happenings Under Development.
