I want to get this year started off right by announcing the debut of my new comic series, STARRING SONYA DEVEREAUX!
A spin-off from "America Jr," STARRING SONYA DEVEREAUX adapts, in comic book form, each film in the career of fictional B-movie actress and scream queen Sonya Devereaux. No budget is too low, no dialog too cheesy and no plotline too thin to keep Sonya from appearing in these straight to DVD flicks. From horror - to action - to erotic thriller, each issue is a laugh-filled send up of a different genre and movie - but they all have one thing in common: Sonya Devereaux and FUN! Okay, that's two things. But just like gravy on mashed potatoes is delicious, Sonya in a crappy movie is hilarious!
Issue 1 features THE NAKED ARE THE DAMNED 2 -- What happens when a simple farm girl gets pushed too far? The spirit of Satan has possessed the CEO of a corporation and desperately wants the farm land owned by Camille (Sonya Devereaux "Co-ed Commandos") and her family. After the corporation pressures the bank to raise the mortgage, Camille must take a job as a nude model to help keep her home. But the CEO doesn't stop there - he sends his army of zombies to take the farm by force! With the help of a voodoo queen, Camille must use her wits, charm and skill to defeat the ultimate evil!
