I'm on vacation in Santa Monica, California.

However, I live only 2 miles away. Meaning - the hot water heater in my apartment broke yesterday and couldn't be fixed until Monday - so my landlord put me up in a suite at a hotel at the beach this weekend. Sounds more glamorous than it is. I really would have preferred a boutique hotel (duh) but that obviously didn't happen.

I walked around the Promenade for a few hours this morning, bought some incense (thanks Cineman for the store referral) had bigass breakfast, had a bigass dinner (lamb chops - d00d, they were so good) and have been drinking wine nearly nonstop.

Since Severus got a stupid man and as such, made herself unavailable for green card marriage, I have decided that if I want to wed a Swede, it will be Stina Nordenstam. Swoon. That's right, fuckers - I just said SWOON! Quite possibly, it is the Pinot talking.

I tried to watch Ghost Rider last night on the teeeveeee, but it put me to sleep after 10 minutes. I'll try again tonight at bedtime.
