Sony has offered me a whopping $5,000 for the exclusive rights for AMERICA JR., which they plan on producing as an animated series.
Furthermore, they have generously offered to pay me $2,000 a week as a staff writer - without any creating or producing credit.
This essentially means that I can clear nearly 1/3 of what I normally make per year - working on a show based on my own idea and not getting any credit for it.
Someone please tell me why I am still here in LA pursuing this as a career.

Unfortunately it's the way of the business to make people feel like crap. There are far too many loopholes to screw one out of money. As someone who make s60% of scale, I know this all too well.
