Took at road trip to Phoenix, where I hung out at a goth club with Razorfist and Danielle, whom you all know I adore.
Like a groupie, I am going to meet them in Tempe tomorrow for an SG event. I pretty much have all day to myself and hopefully I will write some fucking comedy.
It was so good to be next to Danielle for an evening. I really needed her particular energy. I have a lot of amazing, remarkable friends; if you are reading this you are among them - people who really make a difference to me. But right now, she is the most important woman in my life. I don't mean we're in love and crap, but she is supportive and encouraging -- coming from her in particular is powerful and meaningful and she knows it. She's a hard nut to crack, and she recently split her shell for me just a little. I love her. And I hope with all my heart that I still know her in 50 years.
Her new haircut does make her look 12, though.
I hope Severus is feeling better. I miss Trystie Lou and Cedar.
I'm coming home Sunday. I need you people.

Glad you had a cool trip - it sounds like a really great time - and if you're back in town, you should come to our wrap party a week from this next Saturday. Details when I hear from you next.
