OK, it's been a crappy week. Firstly, I found me some strep throat to keep me occupied for a while. But last Monday night, someone was murdered outside my apartment. I was about 50 feet away and heard the shots - that I though were exhaust backfire or construction (there's freeway mess happening). I had no idea.

Fuck, dude. Not good. Sorry to hear about all of this. On the bright side, it sounds like you got a whole year's worth of random L.A. shittyness out of the way in one fell swoop, so hopefully things will be a bit smoother from this point onward for a while.

We need to get us a burger and Belgian beer or three at Fathers ASAP. This week is kinda bad / impossible, but maybe next would work. How's your schedule?

DragonCon was amazing - I co-presented (with Dean Stockwell) the awards for Best Comedy, Best Animated Comedy and Best Parody in the Film Festival.
