WARNING - ACTUAL JOURNAL ENTRY!!

I want to be the only man in a woman's life. The guy that makes her think "wow - I want me summa that!" But some of us just aren't dealt that card. I find myself ending up in relationships with very promiscuous women and consequently never feeling very secure - hell never BEING very secure. I would guess that's...

Got about 45 minutes with Cineman and frontman yesterday and wished I could've stayed longer.

Listening to the last Engine Down record - it's really good.

I expect to hear from Severus in about 10 seconds.

Since I have a new book out today, the 128 page graphic novel THE LIVING AND THE DEAD, I was asked to do an interview with thecomicsreview.com

Oh: you and me and frontman are gonna go to FO this week - or week-end - at some point, just so you know. It's the law. ARRR!!!

I am hardly ever on this site, and even less often comment in people's journals, but I still adore you, and hope we can hang out this holiday season!

I saw two really funny foreign films last night - GORA, which is a Turkish "Star Wars"-y comedy - think GalaxyQuest but SW instead of Trek and less mainstream.

Also "Shaolin Soccer" - which uses the standardized sports movie formula to its advantage!

I recommend both.
severus:
turkish star wars, hahaha. gotta see that one someday.

Tonight it is, then. I'll get a fresh bottle of Budget Macallan from TJ's and we'll feast like kings.

Cool? Just give me an idea when is good for you. 7 or after works for me.

Cheers.
severus:
did you have a good halloween then?

I'll be a guest on the syndicated cable show HORROR KUNG-FU THEATER tomorrow (Friday)!

Atop eerie "Castle Shadow," surrounded by a dark, gloomy forest and guarded by hideous monsters and undead Shaolin masters, stands a shadowy figure waiting for the innocent to turn on their television! Your horror host is named "The Nightshadow," a professional wrestler and one of the Undead.

The show's unusual...

Yikes! Only one more week to enjoy the Halloween season! Hardly any seasonal shows or movies on TV, which rots. Seems the holiday has become more like St. Patricks Day or Cinco de Mayo - just a reason to get hammered. It's a very nostalgic time for me, though. Went to see BRIDE OF FRANKENSTEIN at the Alex Theatre last night. Friend & character actor...

We're so there for you, man. Just say what / when.

I forgot to mention that the short I mentioned above is also in Sundance already.
cineman:
Well, that might be a stretch, but nice of you to say. You do know that I meant the other guy's film Dead West is in, not Age, right? I haven't heard yet on Age, though I don't expect to until closer to the December deadline. Dead West is in the student category and they apparently have earlier submission / notify deadlines than the rest of us.

It's pretty damn cool news for Rook of course; he already has one and may end up with two films in competition - in separate categories no less - at Sundance this year. Crazy times, my man.

Speaking of Rook, I spoke to him a while earlier and like I said before, he'd LOVE to do something in TWW. He feels like that is a story he was born to play a role in, so he's eager to meet with you when the time comes. And you know my feelings on the subject: I would really enjoy doing a project with you in some creative role myself, so just let me know what you have in mind.

I spent all day scouting for the short I'm producing, then the evening reviewing callback auditions on DVD for the feature to select the final cast, and now I'm taking a brief break from editing my Age DP's new reel for him. No rest for the wicked, I guess! wink

What are you doing for Halloween?

Very happy that Lenox went live! That was a long-ass wait!

I've been overly sensitive lately. Maybe it's the freakish weather changes or the professional roller coaster I'm on, but I'm over it.

I also miss Danielle.

Where's Lenox's set? It's true I joined this site because of Cedar and Missy, but after a long respite, I came back for Jessie and Lenox.

So why do I have to wait soooooo long?
