I have returned. Finals didn't end up being all that bad. I did leave work a week earlier then I had originally planned,
which they were cool with, and that helped out a lot. Now I have two wonderful weeks to relax. I'll be finishing up all of my moving tomorrow morning. I can wait to stay at my new home. I am very much ready to leave this desert.

Firestorm 2007 turned out well. This was that benefit dinner I had been working on. Had a good time, drank way more Scotch then I thought I could, and other than a few problems, every thing went well. Raised just over two million, which will be going to the fire fighters who got hurt, and some families that lost their homes. Started the night with this jazz singer that was amazing, and as the old folk when home, we brought on this blues group that really started then night off. I was surprised, we ended up having people dancing and what not until some were around three in the morning. Considering all of the guests checked in for dinner by 6:30 that evening, people must have been having a good time to stick around for eight and a half hours. I also met Senator Kelly and his wife. She was really sweet, he was okay.

The highlight of the evening was spending the evening with my English Professor, who was totally fucked up. For the sack of being a gentleman, I will only quote, "this is so unappropriated."

That has been my last week. Not
