I have just discovered Tofutti Totally Fudge pops and they are awesome! They're dairy free, low fat and did I mention awesome? I'm always willing to try low fat/fat free foods and it's always an added bonus to find something that also tastes good.

I might post pictures tomorrow showcasing my new snake earrings. We'll see what kind of mood I'm in.

I just got...

Dairy free and low fat? What's the point??? Hehehe... tongue

That's pretty shitty of your cell company. I dunno who you're with, but I've found that cell phone companies typically don't care if you go 2 or 3 months without paying or only making partial payments.

I'm horrible when it comes to paying bills. Even if I have the money, I put it off way too much. When I was with Telus, I made payments every 3-4 months and still received calls from them saying "Since you're a valued customer, we're giving you an extra 50 mins a month". I'd hate to see the customers they don't value!
mat8drb:
Much as I like tearing a strip of people when they screw you like that, it always ends up bad, as you feel irritated when you get off the phone, and it's so easy to go off on one at the person at the other end, when they probably agree with you, yet are bound by the rules. mad mad

Snake Earrings? funky. smile

Even though I didn't know this user, WOLFMOON98 was a soldier fighting the war in Iraq and he has died in action. It's shocking, you don't even know someone but when you're in a community like this, you can't help but feel upset over the loss. Feel lucky to be alive, celebrate life.

So, I've now stretched out my lobes to 6g. Heh, after I said I was going to stop. These rings are sooooooo pretty! They're sprial and have snake heads on them. I'll go buy some batteries for my camera and I'll take a picture for y'all.
whitewidow:
Can't wait to see - that sounds sooo cool! biggrin

Well, I was going to post pictures of myself in my new "hoser" t-shirt (I'm not kidding, it's a green shirt that says "hoser" in yellow letters), but my digital camera decided to eat up the rest of the power left in the batteries. Wonderful. And, I don't have another set to put in. Fuckberries. Oh, datsun, I got my pink purse yesterday. Again,...

Sorry for the lack of updates, I haven't felt motivated to get on the computer and just type about my life. Even right now, I don't, but I figured that since I am paying for this account, I should at least make an appearance.

I think I'm going shopping tonight, just for some retail therapy. We'll see how that goes!

Oh my. Well, I've had quite an adventure this morning/afternoon tinkering with my laptop and what not.

I bought The Sims 2 because my roommate just got it and I wanted it as well. I go and buy it this morning, everything is looking good with requirements and what not, installation goes good (as good at 2GB worth of game can go) and I'm all...

I have the same problem with my laptop, that game just eats too much ram. It is a combination of having a good video card with enough ram, as much as possible (225ram doesn't cut it at all, 512 meh...)

The lesson is you need a very fucking high tech computer to play a game that simulates a guy who needs a high tech computer to up his fun rating and go about his day, ironic or not....

Yeah, I find that my anti virus software slows down all of my entertainment programs. Nothing like having your computer "skip" like a scratched cd.

Good news children, I had a decent sleep last night so I'm no longer grumpy.

I went to Old Navy today and bought a denim pea coat for $7 CAN (normally $58). You just have to buy something like that because it's so cheap. I also got U2's new CD because I could finally afford it. Ah, shopping is a wonderful, wonderful thing. I don't...

The deals at old navy here have been nutty too, just bought a winter coat and all the fixings for like $60 usd, everything would have cost me like 200 ^^. Good to see others have fun shopping too.
dayva:
Damn I need to get to Old Navy. Retail therapy is the best kind of therapy. How can you be upset when you have new things? wink

Well, children, I hope you all had a wonderful holiday weekend. I sure as hell didn't get much of anything accomplished, which is a little frustrating but there isn't much I can do about that.

I didn't go to work today as I called ahead of time to see if they needed me, and it turned out that they really didn't. So, I spent the...

Don't cut dairy out entirely! Recent studies show that a glass of nonfat or lowfat milk per day, coupled with a low fat diet that doesn't have a lot of processed carbs (bleached flour, refined sugar, etc.) is actually beneficial in the weight loss process! Plus, women need a lot of calcium and it's easier for your body to absorb from food than from a supplement.

Good luck! I'm on the diet track, too. I had lost 13lbs, but recently gained back 4, so I'm eating a lot of salad these days!

Mildly interesting fact: celery is considered to have negative calories because it takes more calories to chew than it provides. biggrin

shocked echo that Miss Aniticlimatic, my motherThing has osteoporosis bigtime and it's a cruel cruel thing. Keep rubbing the bf up the right way - sex gets rid of lots of calories and isn't that more fun - see - you can have your creamcake and eat it wink love biggrin
