Just for shits and giggles, here's another Random Facts About Me entry:
1. The rain has left Calgary (for now), and the weather has gone from wet and mild to super hot and dry. I always dread the start of summer as the heat almost always makes me feel sick. If I need to go outside for longer than 10 minutes, I make sure that I have a full water bottle with me. If I'm going to be out all day, I bring several bottles of water. Also, being of Irish descent, I burn really easily. If I don't want to burn, I have to wear SPF 50 sunscreen. If I do burn, it never turns into a tan after it heals but I'm left with freckles instead.
2. I'm really bad for going out and buying food for dinner after a long day at work because I'm far too lazy to cook for myself.
3. I only recently started to grow my hair out. For years I had been getting it cut short as a means to frame my face to make it look less fat. Sure, the hair cuts looked cute on me, but they made me look like I weighed 15 lbs more than I actually did.
4. Peanut butter and banana sandwiches are my FAVOURITE food of all time.
5. When I was little and would get packages of candy that would be multi-coloured, I would sort it all out by colour and then eat the candy from least favourite colour to favourite. Usually, it would go orange, yellow, green, red, purple. I kid you not! I ate my Skittles like that for years! I think I finally stopped that when I was 12.
6. I'm a Styx fan, and proud to admit it.
7. When it comes to plants, I have the black thumb of death. Seriously, if I try to take care of a plant I almost always kill it! And, you know what my first job was? Working in the floral department of a groccery store chain.
8. I have an unhealthy obsession with cows. Why, I really don't know; it's been going on since I was 13. They're just the coolest animals out there.
9. I am proud to say that I can touch type (meaning not look at my fingers when typing on the keyboard), and I can usually type about 50 WPM this way. However, if I need to use the number buttons right above the keyboard, I almost always cheat and look at my fingers as I can never remember where my fingers should line up for those keys. I can also type insanely fast on a numeric keypad, but that skill came from being a cashier.
10. I like to have up-to-date electronics, so I try to keep up with those trends as much as possible. My most recent purchase was a 5.8 GHz cordless phone for my apartment, and it's the new standard for cordless phones as it doesn't interfere with wireless internet connections. I'm hoping Nintendo releases a date for putting payments down on their Wii system as I'm so getting that system. I've had it with Playstation, and I hate Microsoft so I would never give the Xbox or Xbox 360 a try.
I can only think of 10 right now. I'm pretty sure that some of those are repeats from the last time I did an entry like this. Oh well.
I miss my septum piercing dearly. However, breathing became far more important and it was a hassle to keep it up my nose while at work. Allergies are a bitch, I tell you.
Oh! And the biggest development with me recently: the boyfriend got me a present! It's nothing much, but he got me a necklace that he saw at the mall and thought it looked cute! It's made up of tiny beds with two large silver painted beads in the middle of the necklace. It means the world to me that he got me this as it's the first actual present he's bought for me since we started going out (not including Christmas presents). I only take it off when I'm sleeping, but looking at it makes me smile. It's amazing how much a little necklace from a kiosk in the mall can make one person happy.
Fuck it's hot. I need to change my clothes.

A cows simplicity can be entertaining. Then again, so is the behavior of all wildlife. Humans included.
About your necklace...that's sweet.
My two favourite peanut butter combinations are with chocolate spread or apricot jam.
I don't like hot weather either, and also burn easily. My holidays tend to be in Northern Europe. Although I got quite well lobster-ised in Stockholm a few years ago; it wasn't even high summer.
