1. I'm so confused. I updated my user picture, but on the Beta SG site, it shows my old picture! I guess this is a bug that'll work itself out. *sighs* Too bad, because my hair is smoking in the new picture.
2. Long weekend! So far, I've spent the day getting my car washed, getting grocceries, and doing minor cleaning around the apartment. I'm waiting for the boyfriend to call and let me know if we're getting together later today or not.
3. Most of the season/series finales for my favourite TV shows have come and gone. Overall, this has been a depressing season for TV; someone in almost all of the shows has died! I'm a little sad that That 70's Show is over, but it went to hell after the sent Eric (Topher Grace) to Africa. I'll have my reruns though.
4. I get my new iPod on Tuesday, as that's when I get paid next. W00t!
5. The search for a new roommate hasn' t been successful. Then again, I really haven't done anything about it. I keep hoping that my boyfriend will pipe up and suggest that he moves in, but I know that isn't going to happen. I've thought about it long and hard, and I really don't want to move in with anymore of my friends, so I'm going to make a post in the student housing boards around Calgary. I don't know how successful that'll be because I'm a 15-30min drive (depending on traffic, of course) from the majority of the post-secondary institutions. Fuck.
6. The job is going OK, I guess. I'm feeling frustrated because it is taking me so long to catch on to the civil engineering world. This is why when I graduate I'll be only applying for jobs in my field, and nothing else! I just keep reminding myself that this is only a summer job and the money is amazingly good.
7. Calgary was hit with a major heat wave this week, and temperatures got up to 30C for a few days last week. This is completely unseasonal as this weather usually shows up at the end of June/early July. I just thank God that I'm getting an air conditioner this year.
8. I've barely played WoW this week, and I'm starting to feel a little anxious over it. If the boyfriend doesn't come over today, I'll be doing that all night.
9. A few of my friends have brought up that my birthday is coming soon. It's really not, as my birthday is in AUGUST! Don't tell me that I'll be turning 21 soon as all it does is depress me.
