I got my new digital camera today! See, the Alberta Provincial government had an insane surplus this past fiscal year and decided to give back some of the money to Albertans, they submitted a 2004 tax return and weren't in a provincial penetentary. All eligible Albertans received $400 to do with however they pleased. I've been looking at this little beauty for six months now,... Read More
Oh good for you a windfall !! I've been lucky enough to benefit from the de-mutualisation of building societies into banks and go $3K US off one of them years ago.
Your zoom range sounds fine though Australians probably wouldnt give a 4X for it (you probably don't get that do you?)
I find the flash on my SLR rather vicious, it would be nice it had a swivelling head to bounce the light - I sometimes hold a tissue over it to diffuse the light.
Please don't mention Swarovski - I was held captive in a Swarovski shop in Vienna until I coughed up for a ring.
Foamcore modelling that's softcore rather than hardcore Sounds fun to me ....
I love American Idol when its in the audition stage. 'Nuff said.
I've been having an allergic reation to something since Saturday night. I was at Jay's house watching a movie when I started to feel itchy. I came home only to discover that my clevage was covered in hives. It didn't make sense at the time because I hadn't really come into a lot... Read More
My parents finally get back from London today. I don't know, I've missed talking to my mom whenever I want during the day while she's been gone. She did call when she was gone, but the conversations were generally kept short as they were on my dad's mobile and she didn't want to waste his minutes. Yes, my dad is over there so much that... I procrastinate constantly. Right now I should be studying for my finals.
But hey... I'm paying for an internet connection, I have to make the most of it
So, add it to the fact that my eyes have gone to shit (I need distance vision and reading glasses. I'm in too much denial about it to get bifocals), I just feel old. At the granding FUCKING age of 20.
By the time I'm 30, I'll have false teeth!!!
Alright, enough exaggeration. I still feel old though.
I think the point is time moves on relentlessly and clocks tick. Bodies are amazingl durable, it's minds that area more fragile
Thank you - the photo doesn't show the chaotic entanglement of bobbins behind it though. I miscounted one lousy stitch this afternoon and had to unknit 110 stitches to get back to it Can you do that with crochet or are you stuffed if it goes awry??
OK, seriously, if you haven't seen this board on Everything SG, you've really been missing out. I first read it a few days ago and almost pissed my pants laughing. I figured I needed another laugh today, so I read it again. My god, the people on this site kill me sometimes
Today was a thoroughly boring day. It involved public speaking first thing... Read More
Alright, taking the advice of mat8drb and cdt21, this entry has been written in Microsoft Word and pasted into my journal so I dont lose it once again. I figured I might as well go with Word as I really cant stand Notepad. Plus, word as a spell check
That's very impressive with the AutoCAD work I shall revere your technical skills in future
Once I've caught up the news/weather I flip the TV over to the classic music video channel (not quite as boring as it sounds) or to MTV Dance depending on my mood and the shit they're showing. I don't do radio at all but I use my iPod at work and the same polar opposites of classics or dance.
I currently listening to Andrea Bocelli and Wonderful Life by Tina Cousins.
London is good sometimes but costly to be around. They could do with more oxygen in there too. I found a great way to go up Oxford Street was in the lee of the pavement cleaning machine.
Shake that there virus off or I'll have to reformat you
You know, I had this whole long, drawn out entry about how much I love AutoCAD, but I accidentally hit the touchpad on my laptop which some how clicked on a link and lost my entry. Fuck. I'm not going to repeat it as I'm pissed off at my computer.
My mom leaves for London tomorrow and heads to Aberdeen with my dad on the... Read More

I've heard they're good, though obviously different - and you get some of Paul Rodger's back catalogue too.
And Happy New Year.
Sets? Don't look at that many unless they are favourites or UK girls but if you haven't yet, check out "The 2 queens" (Fanny & Kate) yesterday
Did y'all miss me? Many thanks to cdt21 for sending me a gift account; if it wasn't for him, you'd all still be wondering when I'd be coming back
I'd hate to say it, but not much has happened since I've been gone. School has taken over my life and it seems to be all I have time for. It has paid off... Read More
