thanks for all the advice! it seems that at first it will be easier for us to live over there, the INS seems like an absolute nightmare. and the phonecards i actually caught on to before we even started talking on the phone. no obnoxious phonebills for me, thank you! i found one that will give me two hours if i call a landline or an hour if i call a mobile phone in the UK for only $10. i love the cheap phone cards! i have about five of them lying around now.

i have been reading up on immigration laws for both countries pretty intensely over the past week and my eyes are hurting and my head is spinning and it all seems so overwhelming. we'll get there though. he is worth all the hassle, or at least that's what i keep telling myself.
