Had a life altering experience a year or so ago (see 'Most Humbling Moment') and decided I should do a few things differently with my time, now that my recovery is complete. One of those is to get off my lazy ass and get a little more active here, instead of only lurking as I have been for the past two years.

Last weekend was a great start to that, as longtime friend tmronin stopped by my place for a photoshoot with the lovely Batty. Also in on the adventure were the charming Girlie, working her make-up magic and her new husband, NBK66. Congrats, guys! As is usual in my life, there was a bit of chaos involved. My well pump decided to go that morning so there was an unexpected bit of landlord/neighbor/electrician traffic. In the end, though, everything worked out.

Afterward, we all headed over to the home of Shane and local SG queen Twwly for a few shots of her with guns...big guns. You gotta love girls with guns! Then the entire entourage was off to dinner for a delightful end to the day.

Well, sort of...As tmronin and I were almost home, Batty called. She had a flat, so, being generally nice guys, we headed back to rescue the fair damsel in distress. No worries...pull the flat, inflate the spare, and we're off, right? Wrong! tmronin's battery died in the process so we spent the next hour and a half waiting for AAA. It was all good though, since Batty hung out with us on the side of the highway even though she was freezing her wings off. Thanks Batty!!! tmronin and I finally ended the day after another beer at home around 5:30am. Did you know the birds are already up at that ungodly hour?

Oh well, what good is life if it can't be an adventure. I'll drop back in next time I think I've got something to say that someone might want to read...or whenever the next adventure strikes!!! Later All
