In vain do I stretch my arms out for her in the morning, when I try to arouse myself from troubled dreams; in vain do I seek her at night in my bed, deluded by some happy and innocent dream in which I am sitting beside her in the meadow, holding her hand and convering it with a thousand kisses. And when, still heavy with...

Sadly enough, my Modern Italian History class went longer than expected and I missed out on any chance of talking to Brunette girl. However, there is another somewhere in that same hallway, I'll just keep my eyes open. Worst journal entry ever...there'll be a better one tomorrow.

modern italian history?

whew....I can't imagine what that entails.

so we're friends now.

there's not a lot of sXe kids in Michigan either my friend. So I can relate to your lonesomeness in that respect.

although I imagine Montana is pretty lonesome in general. at least you got David Lynch....can you visit his ancestral home or something?

Yes! A new episode of What Not to Wear followed by a LAN party? Things are turning up aTh!

So did you talk to that chick or what? You just can't be afraid of chicks; they're people too. I just see it as what do you have to lose by talking to a girl? It's 50-50 if it goes well, then it's another 50-50 if it turns into something good and another 50-50... It's all a process of elimination anyway.

Yeah, your friend either needs to shut up or end that long-distance bullshit. It's not going to work out in the long run. I've tried it, my friends have tried it and it just never worked out. Being away for a short time can work, but not the other way around.

I'll try to keep this one short because nothing has really happened. History girl doesn't show up for class anymore, so that pretty much leaves Brunette girl-- which isn't a bad situation at all. Now I have to overcome my massive shyness and talk to her today. That's the plan my few friends, to talk to her. Let's just all cross our fingers for my...

Blah-ha, a new entry that won't have anything new to say.

I'm bummed that Explosions in the Sky will be in the Pacific Northwest for a couple shows next week and I'll miss them. Damn this educational facility that I feel obligated to attend!

So, Presley, really wanna consider being actual friends? I gots tons more jokes like that, all you have to do is...

I'm just bummed that I'm missing so many good shows that come through Seattle and I'm not there to enjoy them. I missed the Himsa DVD show because I had already moved to Texas by then. Yeah, some of those shows go through Dallas, but not all of them. I just have to find the scene or try to establish one in Fort Worth. Dammit, that means I turn into a 'scenester'! SHIT!

adawnfalling: I know all too well about high school football-- that's sport de facto here in the Big Sky State and I have a friend who covers "all the action" for a news station. He goes on and on about it, but I rarely care unless my alma mater is mentioned (go figure they win state two years after I graduate). Thanks for posting...if only...

Oh yeah, the friends list grows exponentially!!!
I hate Tuesdays. I don't have any classes to go to so I usually just sit around my apartment thinking...which isn't a good thing. Too frequently I run across memories of my ex. Not today though, or at least those memories weren't as vivid as always:
Paid a parking ticket.
The DMV is horribly slow. There was this...

Hey what's up? Friday Night Lights was good...much better than I expected-- which was pretty much a spiffy remake of "Remember the Titans." The photography was pretty good and the characters weren't as stereotypical as I had pinned them to be (although Booby was). I picked out Explosions in the Sky everytime they played something, so that made my night.

That movie is based on, if not completely about, Odessa and Odessa Permian High Schools in West Texas. Anyone that plays Texas high school football knows about the legendary rivalry of those two schools. They'd annihlate my school, but then again we got stomped by the state champs my junior and senior years.

Yes yes, no friends at all. The solemn life of sXe in the great state of Montana is intensified tenfold claiming such an illustrious lifestyle. Blah blah blah, sarcasm this, dry wit that. I really need to get a hold of a digital camera...
So yeah, story of the day with a little background information: There's this girl who was in a couple history classes...
