School has started and there are many reasons to be glad/bummed.
First the negatives: for the first three days straight I have seen the ex on campus. Today was a close encounter, but since she was on the other side of the street walking to class and me going the opposite direction, all we did was exchange sheepish glances at each other. I felt an urge to go against what everybody has told me and talk to her, but then again, I don't know if she wants to talk to me at all or what. The last time we exchanged words (they were quite hostile) was Oct. 4th. My birthday fucking rocked.
Positives: new prospects abound as long as I don't jinx myself by writing this paragraph. There have been a couple good looking chicas on the bus: On Tuesday, there was this one girl and we were kind doing the old looking-each-other-over-with-the-eyes treatment. The cool thing about that was we were on the same bus twice and did the whole eye routine again. If she is on the bus tomorrow (Tuesday-Thursday class schedule) I'm going to talk to her. Fuck that waiting around until the end of semester bullshit.
Another positive: Liz is in my 340 class. She was in KC's German class last fall as well as his current classmate in German 102. Hopefully things can pan out in my direction.
Classes are okay so far. Not really enthusiastic about the reading requirements for most, but at least 340 with Drake will be enlightening.
