It finally hit me, school starts up again in one week. I'm not really looking forward to it. Of course there are the pros and cons such as meeting up with friends again (pro) and running into all those memory-association landmarks (mostly con). I have never, since orientation the summer before freshman year, been fond of the drive into town. The far east end of Missoula is a dump consisting of run down hotels and fast food joints. The offramp from the highway leads to this intersection of a semi-major street where the bums have strategically set up their begging shop. Everyone has to come to a complete stop next to them with their oh-so-typical homeless signs. And there's always a group of them...strength in numbers I suppose. Either way, it's not a flattering image of Missoula, if such a thing exists. Furthermore, I don't believe there is a single entrance into a Montana city that is flattering. Such is the condition of the Big Sky State.

Classes this semester seem as though they will have a strangle hold on me yet again. The list of classes so far:

History 340: European Intellectual/Cultural History of the 20th Century
History 353: Jefferson and Jackson
History 287: North American Hispanic History 1880-Present
History 284: Modern Islamic Civilization
Art 123: Fundementals of Drawing

Total: 15 credits. I'm looking for another class; some dance class will do since they don't require much talent (only attendance) and will give me one credit. I'm a little worried my ex may be in one of the History 200 classes as they are "non western" subjects. If she is, there is a French history class still available as well as a French cinema course being offered. I'm a little put off with the latter because it's 300-level, and, let's face, I really don't want to bog myself down with too much studying. 4.0 here we come!

Last night I played WC3-The Frozen Throne on battle.net with a buddy of mine. The team consisting of the two of us was just down right terrible. By the end of the night, we managed to claw out a 3-8 record, which I might add, is retarded. We had like three disconnets for automatic losses. We need better communication and he needs to tech to tier2 units quicker. Hopefully later tonight we'll fire it up again. I'm switching from humans to night elves. I'm better with the pretty race.

As of last week, I've been trying to cut caffine out of my diet. The results have been outstanding: average bedtime--9pm, average wake-up--6am. Perhaps now I'll be better suited for a semester of school on a "normal" sleep pattern.
