So last night was wonderful: Millie came over and the two of us just hung out watching the Food Channel. Good stuff. Not much else happened, just some talking and random comments. She still looks great. After my sister and her boyfriend came back from the bars, Millie and I went to 4Bs at 2:30 in the morning. We talked a little bit there, mostly...

Well, it looks like I'm goint to invest my time and energy pursuing Jaleen. At least she talks to me in class and gives me the "eyes."
Boring weekend coming up...perhaps I'll start on my 10-page term paper.

Good for you. Don't try to juggle too many chicks at once because it proves tiresome. Just "get 'r done!"
Yeah, the new AFI cd doesn't have anything from Sing The Sorrow (probably legal issues). I actually bought that tribute (just because I wanted to see how shitty it would be) and MY GOD! It is fucking horrible!
It's funny because there's only like 2 or 3 bands, but they shuffle band members around with each other and call themselves something different.

Go figure, one of the only days that I'm feeling confident, history girl is a no-show. Well, there's always more to come today. I saw Liz before I usually do...wow, she is gorgeous.
I know this is delayed a little bit and I'm not a very political person, but this shit just has to stop. I don't hate George W. Bush. I don't hate John Kerry. I certainly do not hate Ralph Nader (hey, I can almost see my vote in there with the rest of the 395,000 others he received), but all this "I'm moving to Canada"...

NADER GOT HOSED!
Well, nothing has been happening lately, but as adawnfalling's comments pointed out (not literally) to me that it was time to update.
My sister's on again off again boyfriend of more than two years (nearly three now) came up to visit from Chicago for a week. Things were fine for the first weekend, then Monday hit. I won't go into too many...

Because updating is too much work right now (and it looks cooler now that I have my per usual one comment) I'm just gonna fill in what happened in the latter half of my day:
In figurative baseball terms, I batted 1.000 today going four for four with a two out run-scoring double in the ninth. To recap, History girl was present, Brunette girl was actually walking the halls and I had the perfect opportunity to talk to her but I don't have any "material" to get a conversation started, Liz was out in the hall too (seriously, I have never seen a girl in my life with so much style), and then Jaleen was in Humanities. The two-out double was me actually talking to Jaleen afterwards. I felt kind of dumb because I pretty much walked her to her next class, but at least she and I both kept the conversation going. Too early to tell, perhaps something on Friday might happen.
So here's where I come to you, my loyal reader(s): I need some advice. I'd like to talk to history girl but there really isn't much for common ground except the ol' "so what do you think of this class?" bullshit. One of my female friends that's a pretty lame way to start a conversation, but at the very least it is something. I'd also like some advice on what to say to Brunette girl. It'd pretty much talking to a total stranger (a very sexy, stranger) and I have zero material, like David Letterman.

I usually just go with the generic "hi" and go from there, but be careful not to sound like a douchebag and ALWAYS talk with confidence with a slight hint of humility. Those awkward silent moments are going to be there if don't know what you have common, but that's what talking is for: communicating and bonding with other human beings. Just ask questions and try to make chitchat, but don't come off as prying for information.
As I would normally say to friends, "Stop being a fuck-ass-shit and get 'r done! It's just a fucking chick!"

Her existance, her destiny, and her sympathy with mine press the last tears from my ebbing mind.
To lift the curtain and step behind it. That is all. And why with fear and trembling? Because no one knows what one may see there? or because one cannot return? Or because it is, after all, a peculiarity of our mind to apprehend that confusion and darkness...

What do you expect me to say to that? Want an analysis of the poetic prose? Here's my thoughts on it.
The first rhyming sentence are romantic way to say that this chick makes you happy and makes you forget all your heartache.
The second part is about stepping into the unknown. You use a curtain, because you don't know what's behind it. It could be nothing, or it could be the old man, like in The Wizard of Oz. The fear and trembling is just an anxiety we feel until we overcome and expose it. Afterall, the wizard was omnipotent and grandiose until a little dog exposed the old man behind the curtain.

I was a little pissy in my last journal entry. Sorry about that, I hope this one will be better because the events that have recently transpired have turned my mood 180 degrees.
So there I am reading a book and my cellphone rings. I immediately think it's my sometimes-a-little-too-suffocating friend, but it isn't. It was, for the sake of her privacy, X! Holy shit....

Boring night.
New season of South Park started. I always have expectations of that show now, but I should really lower them so I'm not quite as disappointed.
To my great suprise, Stacy London does a show called America's Worst Bathrooms and I watched her critique and cringe at others' horrible bathrooms. I don't know what it is, but I'm extremely attracted to her on...

It sucks because I always wind up missing all the South Parks. Every once in a while I'll be able to catch a new one or just any episode, and I'm fucking happy.
I'll agree everyone and their granny seem to be having Halloween parties. It sucks that people use those parties like a mini-Mardi Gras, but it's always a chance to be social. People in the SG DFW group are inviting me to a Halloween party, my friend Rocky is inviting me to some party in Mansfield, TX, and I don't even know what my girl has in store. Just go if you feel like it, and hey, you never know who you might meet at a party or what interesting stories you might bring back.

I don't even have a tv...but I was at a friend's house and I did see the new south park, it was pretty funny. I love halloween, and I think it's fun to get dressed up, and use your imagination. I started dressing up for halloween yesterday, I did an 80's theme yesterday, and today I was a skeleton. I guess it's not that cool, but it was amusing for me because I was the only person on campus that went to all of there classes in costume several days before halloween. anyways.... until later

History 339: Intellectual and Cultural History of 19th Century Europe midterm tomorrow at 9 am. I'm pumped. Seriously, it's gonna be great, I already have pressure from the professor to get the highest grade in the class. Fun.
Oh, and if my ladies are present tomorrow, I'm definately making a move.

It's really creepy whenever you think you see your ex out and about. I used to see mine everywhere; actually, every once in a while I'll see a girl that looks similar to her. Again it all goes to letting go and moving on. Can't stress that enough.
Keep it trill, fo sho.

I think I broke a rib yesterday: deep breathing, coughing, yawning, sneezing, sleeping, the motion of sitting down, the motion of bending over to pick up something off the floor, stretching, and shifting my body in a horribly designed desk from the 1890s still in use at UM are all now effected.
None of the ladies were around today.
Need sleep. Need a girlfriend. Any...

Saturday greatness. I didn't wake up yesterday until two in the afternoon and even then I didn't roll out of my room until three.
I had some sort of a dinner date with a friend last night too. It was cool she and her roommate made dinner for me and this other guy Nick, who is quite possibly the coolest guy I've met in this...

Yeah, those all-nighters with friends always seem to be the best. I can't remember how many times I've stayed up until the sun came up with friends. It just feels great because you shared some of the best moments in each other's lives.
Much love to my homiez!

Hey alright, Friday night and I'm kicking ass by watching What Not to Wear. Anywho...
Much better day today although none of my "ladies" were around except the one in my Humanities discussion group. Seriously though, it wasn't cold at all in the room and it just really bugs me when people wear those damn puffy parkas inside. F-that b.
