Today was interesting. Came home and got a new car...which was unexpected. I had been looking, but didn't think I would get one today. I love it too, it's so much fun!

Funny thing happened. I was cleaning out my old car and was getting nostalgic and sad. That stupid thing has a lot of memories attached to it. But as I thought about it, everything in my life right now seems to be changing and moving ahead. For so long I felt stuck in a rut and now things are finally changing. It's funny that getting a new car brought it all to light. It's a really materialistic thing to spur this introspective mood. And I'm happy too. Weird. I don't usually like change, but I'm rather excited to see where everything goes...

My boy won an award (for the second time) and found out about it today. I am so happy for him. He is such a talented and smart guy - he deserves it. I'm so proud and feel really lucky to be part of his life. God, that's so corny.

But I am in a good mood.
