So an update on my situation, and some great news!
First off, I want to say the good news first! My college has no formal photography department or even group, I brought this to marketings attention and told them that there are a few student on campus, such as myself, that have some knowledge and skills with photography. I told them that me and some of my fellow students have some decent equipment, nothing too professional, but a lot better than the staff running around with point and shoot cameras.
The marketing division of the college loved my idea, and told me if I could get it together the job was mine. They told me that Im now head photographer of the college! I was like really? And the head of marketing said yes. So now I got a new gig for my college and what not and trying to assemble this division of photographers (my peps). And see if this plan takes flight, with my drive, Ill make sure this takes off the ground.
On the other hand I have so many assignments due in under a short amount of time.
- A 15 page paper on success and failures of the correctional system
- 10 criminal statue summaries each ranging from 3 to 5 pages
- 4 final exams
- Go to a criminal trial and summarize what happened in 10 pages
- And last (well at least for now) 20 assignments ranging in 1 to 5 pages for each class.
I might as well be going for my masters!!!
Anyways, umm still trying to find out my financial situation and figuring out why I owe $300. Also finding out if my financial aid is still going to cover next terms classes and also still have to fix my address with the college and find out where my damn refund checks are!?
Also I was nominated and won student of the month for my college and had my interview today, went alright, and got my picture taken. And then I need to go pick up my $10 gift card to either Dunkin Donuts or McDonalds, haha choices choices, haha.

chicken cordon bleu, cheesy potatoes, and corn. there's salad, and then ice cream for dessert too!
