The date, it did not go well. It kind of sucked. I'm not going into any further detail, because I'm pretending it never happened, but I will say that the complete and utter failure of the date is of no fault of my mother's or the nice boy she set me up with. Or, you know, dangling participles and prepositions.

I think some sort of weird pre-menstrual hormonal imbalance is inflicting my body. A little bit ago, some generically cute girl plopped down next to me in the Richter Library's computer lab. She wasn't much to write home about, but I kept getting distracted and started surrepticiously glancing over at her manicured yet nail polish-less hands. She had really nice hands. And I was watching her hand navigating the mouse, scrolling the little nub that -- hey, let's face it -- sort of looks like a clit through the V of her fingers. And the clicking, that was kind of hot, too.

Okay, I'm going to go home now and take a shower because my hormones are freaking me out.

three to four years, dig. I might not be working at the same place, but I could definitely hook you up with one of the best run drug & alcohol residential treatment centers in Portland... though it's not much for pay, yes. In three to four years--surviving the current economy--they may pay better, but they at least have two student counselors doing internships there at any moment, and probably have room for more. Plus, I know where there's lots of other places, and who knows what contacts I could have in three or four years... *dream sequence, showing me standing at the mayor's podium* Citizens of Portland! I, Mephausto, would like you to welcome to our great city braveliltoaster! Now! Give her a job doing social work therapy in a field she desires, one that pays a great wage! Also, lunch today is lasagna!

You're right about Kutcher looking creepy. His face creeps me. The fact that he's coupled with Brittany Murphy in that film is quite telling. She's creepy too...not as negatively as him, though. I hate to bag on Brittany (after her good performane in Girl Interrupted and great performance in Freeway) but she is one of the few people I'd describe by the adjective "skanky"; she is sorta sexy but creepy. The blonde hair dye doesn't help matters.
I did take your comments about Islam seriously, by the way. I've heard that said, that the Koran has pretty language. Chris Hitchens naysaid it, but then he's excessively grumpy at times. I read some of the bible in 2001. It creeped me out more than Ashton Kutcher. It has parts about atoning for sins by strangling turtledoves or burning meat to make a pleasant smell for God. I read all of Revelations. It's pretty bent.
