So the date went well last night. We had dinner at Anokha, a really great Indian restaurant in Coconut Grove. We ate vegetable naan, paneer makhani, navrata korma, dal makkhani, and kessar pullao. It was so good. She wanted to pay for it all, and I probably should've let her because I couldn't really afford it, but I didn't want to seem like a total loser, so I insisted. Anokha is my new favorite Indian restaurant. The naan isn't as good at House of India though, but the atmosphere is a lot more romantic.

And then we went to Club 5922 and danced. And I didn't make an ass out of myself. We shared a goodnight kiss, nothing more. I think we've come to a mutual agreement wherein we've decided to start anew and pretend we didn't have drunken sex on New Year's Eve. We're going out again on Saturday.

Oh my god. Soon we'll be going to Melissa Ferrick concerts together and holding hands. That's fucking scary.

In other news, Jeb Bush was sworn in today. I didn't vote for him.

Oh, but in happier news, the DWR catalog came today! And I drooled and practically masturbated to it. I was moaning, "Oooohhh, Le Corbusier... Eames... MIES VAN DER ROHE! OOHHH!" Except it wasn't really like that. Except that it was. Oh man, I'm such a furniture whore.

Oh, and I think I'll be taking Psychology of Language Development next semester. There are 8 seats open. I'll try to track down my advisor or her assistant. That's going to be fun.
