AVENUE Q WON. YES. It won three awards including BEST GODDAMN MUSICAL. And I'm so glad. Because you know what? Seeing that musical actually helped me. It did. It helps to hear someone other than your mom or dad tell you not to worry about your future. Hey! I already wrote this entry. It's really creepy how perfectly this song sums up how I feel:
"What do you do with
A B.A. in English?
What is my life going to be?
Four years of college
And plenty of knowledge
Have earned me
This useless degree.
I can't pay the bills yet
'Cause I have no skills yet.
The world is a big
Scary place..."
I love it. And I haven't even graduated yet, but I already "...Wish I Could Go Back To College":
"I wanna go back to my
Room and find a message
In dry-erase pen on the door!
Ohhh...
I wish I could just drop
A class...
Or get into a play...
Or change my major...
Or fuck my T.A."
IT WON! IT WON! YAY! HAPPY DANCE! YAY! Now everyone should go to New York and see it RIGHT NOW.
Also, John Tartaglia should be coming home to visit his mommy soon, who lives next door to my friend Cyndi. Cyndi is taking part in Summer Shorts, and GUESS WHAT. So is John Tartaglia's mom. He's a puppeteer, and he plays the roles of Rod and Princeton. And he's fucking CUTE. But gay. Awesome. So, yes. I guess he has a vacation from "Avenue Q" for a week or so... Huh. I'm not sure how that's going to work, seeing as how the play just won BEST MUSICAL. Oh my god, I'm so happy.
HOORAY!
