I am now a SPACE CHAMPION. This is a title bestowed upon me and people of my ilk by Patton Oswalt Flamin' Floyd, the Famous Flamer. He's choppin' prices!!

In other news, the doves are back. They had two babies, as usual. They had lunch earlier. Mama and Papa Dove are currently sitting on the patio in an effort to coax those suckers down. The nest these dovey couples use are securely perched on the brick posts underneath our patio's overhang.The kiddos are pretty big, and their wings look fully formed.

I love these birds. The parents have an egalitarian relationship, too! They both feed the kids and take turns watching over them. I love it. Oh, and if one of their little guys is ready before the other fellow and hops down from the nest first? They continue feeding and caring for the "weaker" or more timid baaaaaby, as well as the little adventurer exploring the ground and stuff.

Oh man, the first time we had doves? The second baby jumped down around 4 hours after its nest friend. When they saw each other, the two little guys RAN to each other. It was so cute.

I love baby animals.
