"Dying to Live"

The light of the moon
Used to ignite my brain
Just one drop of blood
Used to get me higher than cocaine
The darkness of my cave
Used to hide me from fame
Twisting my pipe
Help me cope with the lame
I have yet to find a woman
That functions with a normal brain

I used to see life
In what was already dead
I used to get inspired
By the voices inside of my head
I used to go to sleep
With a woman inside of my bed
But I've been alone for so long
I want that woman dead

I no longer see visions
Or share what I see
I show no emotion
My heart belongs to the sea
I see no good in humans
I've given up on humanity

Inspiration lies in the eyes of the beholder
I used to be able to find meaning
In the existance of a boulder
But I recently turned my back
On a world with no order

I will never forget
Just pray that I forgive
Because being on my bad side
Is not a nice way to live
I deserved to be treated
