"Monopoly"

Tonight I sit on top of the world
Loved, Hated and Known
My genius got me here
But my madness left me alone
My soul feels empty
And my heart turned to stone
Because the people I loved most
Used me for reasons unknown

I don't know who I am
But I know who I've become
I think about the days
When life used to be fun
I used to drink rum
And not reach for my gun
But now when the bottles done
My anger and pain
Makes me want to shoot people for fun
They call me the truth
I pass lie detector test's for fun

Making the world my home
Has left me isolated and alone
Now I am hated
In a town I used to call my own
I'm harassed by the police
And hated at home
Every person that I contact
Is given orders to either fuck me
Or ignore my ringtone

The world became
My own Monopoly game
We rolled the dice on fame
And became a dealer of shame
My truth created so much devastation
I made the Boardwalk look lame
I beat the other players so bad
All they do is point fingers
And try to place blame

I fear nothing in this world
And I no longer feel pain
My body is numb
And my brain turned insane
My heart keeps beating
Only for the love of the game
