Well, I've finally found accomodations for Toronto Pride, so I'm allowed to be excited about the trip again. I will be staying with the lovely Lucy who has offered to put me up for a couple of nights. Everyone go say something nice to her. She saved my summer vacation.

Thinking back now, I might actually prefer having a trip all to myself. I can have all of the memories all to myself and no one to tell me what I can or cannot do. It'll be great because no one really knows me and I can make whatever impressions I want to.

I've actually had two of my friends from both Sarnia and London ask if they could come with me, and as much as I hate to say so, I've wheedled my way out of letting them come along.

First, that wouldn't be fair to my gracious host. It's generally not good manners to bring friends into the space that someone was kind enough to create just for you.

Secondly, I really got used to this being my vacation. A little taste of freedom from everyone and everything that I know. Plans are mine to make and secrets are mine to keep.

I'm so excited again about painting the town of Toronto red (and orange, yellow, green, blue and purple hehe). Thanks again Lucy you're a sweetheart.
