I just got one of the most interesting and unique early birthday presents last night. Let me explain...

My friend Bill dresses fairly jockish and outdoorsy. A lot of Roots, CampusCrew, button-up shirts, baseball caps and khakis. Usually in these five colours: blue, red, khaki, green, and white. Never really have I seen him in anything funky, not even his hair. Always brown and short and even. He's 32, scared of change and breaking the mold. Pretty strange for a gay man you'd think, huh?

Well, last night, he let me shave his hair into a mohawk and dye it bright purple. I even dyed the soul patch on his face to match. It was so much fun!

He even let me pick out clothes for him to wear at Value Village (vintage, used clothing chain) in a total gothy style to wear to Dissent on my birthday. He even paid for it with no complaints about what I had chosen. We only had to make sure that it fit first. It was great.

Thanks Bill! Awesome gift. Hopefully I'll have pictures for you all soon.

Also, SIN CITY is finally out today at the theaters. Finally, a movie I can get excited about. It's been a while.
