Much money unexpectedly spent today.
$350 on a cat that came home with a ripped open hip. Dog bite. Nickel sized gash with the skin split open and muscle airing itself out.
More will be spent tomorrow when I go back to the vet to get the stitches put back in that the little bastard just ripped out.
Then, there's the car. I honestly had no idea that the 60K maintenance package (which I'm having done at 80K) would cost over $500.
Oh, yes. The bike work I needed done came to over $100.
It's been a thousand dollar day!
To celebrate, I drove the SUV I have as my overnight rental to rural Wisconsin and filled the back with the biggest chunks of sandstone I could carry.
Several snakes were disturbed in the process. One repeatedly struck at me. Had I been bitten by a snake, today would truly have been complete.
