Perspective. It kicks you in the ass sometimes.

Tonight is a good night. The Red Sox won the pennant and I realized that I need to take control of my own life :-D how corny is that.

I've been in a weird downward spiral for a month now, despite good points, I've been goind down and blaming other people for it. I talked to a friend today and realized that I'd been blaming him for my problems while not realising that with all the crap on his shoulders he still manages to make time for me and all I do is complain.

So. My life is not hopeless. I am a bad friend but I am working on that. I feel like my brain has been surrounded with concrete and oatmeal and suddenly it's clear and I can breathe and god I'm happy.

So. I go to Philly this weekend to visit my parents, I enjoy the people who love me, I come back, and I resume life as a (semi)normal happy human person. LOL

GO RED SOX!!!!!!!!!!!!! smile love biggrin eeek wink blush smile

Perspective can change everything.
Im pleased that the Red sox made you realize that you want to control your life. I know it need to take control my life, its just that I think I miss placed the remote control. The thing Im starting to notice is that I live through or for other people. Im not sure if that makes sense but thats how I feel.
Im starting to notice that we have some things in common, we are both bad friends. I seem to think that most of my friends are disposable. They have this little odometer on the base of there neck and soon as they reach 10,000 mile its time to replace them. Its not a good way to be. So, much like you, Im going to be working harder at being a good friend.
Well, I hope you have a safe drive to Philly. With any luck you wont get caught in crazy traffic. Last time me and my ex-girlfriend drive to PA we got trapped in CT traffic for like an hour and a half because of little car accident.
