So. I want to finish school and become a nurse, I don't want to be the manager of a quick lube. I like working there and getting experience as the assistant manager, but it's not a career for me, no matter how good I am it's still just a job.
So when my boss (and ex) got transferred to a busier shop and a newly promoted asst. manager came to run our shop I was worried that I would end up with the real responsibility of running it since I knew the place so well. And that's exactly what happened.
I worked with Adam exactly one day, Tuesday, then he was off, then I was off and I come back today to find out that his baby was born and he's now taking his two weeks vacation and I'm in charge.
Um. Red wine gives me verbal diarrhea. On the upside I told my ex to take a hike but for good. "Being friends" doesn't work when he still wants to fuck but not call. I hate it when I take a girly turn like this, but I need a little respect every now and then. Besides, better to tell him not to come w/in 50 ft. of me now before I really hate him, because I don't want to waste time on that again. Now I can get through the little sad moving on period and have good memories on the other side of it.

i hope things are going smoothly with the ex. i currently have so much drama with one of my exes too, and it's amazingly ridiculous. anyway, maybe sometime we can hang out. we really do only live like 20 minutes away from each other. my roommates and i have boardgame nights. come play! there's no reason why you shouldn't have friends in the area. take care!
