My one day off in seven will involve watching DVR'd shows (I still want to say Tivo'd, I miss the Tivo), doing laundry, thinking about vacuuming, and eventually driving to KoP to record the Eagles/Cowboys game for my dad who's in Florida right now.... about to see the Red Sox/Rays @ Tampa Bay. Grrrr. The only reason I'm not dying of jealously and refusing to record the football game is because mama says she will 'forgive my debt' to her if I go out of the way to do this. It's not like I owe her a riduculous amount, but I will hold her to it. I just paid off my car, it would be nice to feel as if I'd set aside one more debt, no matter how manageable. So I'll go to Showcase Comics, and half watch the football game while reading the bagful of old James Bond paperbacks recently acquired. Yee-hah

but why go all the way to KoP to record it?

Hello. I see 2 because one is actually a therapist. I see her weekly. The other guy I see montly writes my scripts. Funny, my support system is mostly professionals as my family isn't much help. My one daughter (26), who lived with me for a while wouldn't lift a finger to help me unless I paid her....and the other one just flat out hates my guts. I guess that stems from being drunk for 25 years. (7 1/2 years sober now).

So, combine the pain with the crazy head.....throw in trying to remain sober and taking care of my father and I'm pulling off quite a balancing act....haha. I guess that explains my being 'painfully single' since around 2001.
