went to two shows and a big party back home in the last couple of days...first saw alkaline trio at slims in sf, and then saw nick cave and the bad seeds two nights ago at the warfield. alkaline trio were okay, but they are getting a little bit too big for their britches, they pulled the whole rockstar bit and then really weren't that impressive, i liked the other times i have seen them better. nick cave on the other hand was amazing, he played for and hour and a half and i could have stayed for two more...it sucks that blixa was not there but the music was still great....then there was a big party back home, so i had to go down for that, i passed out at three in the morning after dancing all night and i was still written on...now back up in davis for a bit, got to find a job and get my work together at the radio station.
