I am plotting revenge =)
So my ex and I are trying the whole relationship thing again.... apparently it isn't working well..
He spends all of his free time working on movies here in town which I don't mind terribly much, except for the fact that he meets actresses that will flirt with anything that will get them their next gig.... he then falls head over heels for these girls that couldn't give a shit about him... welllll moving on...
There is a film mixer on Monday that is a pretty big deal, it kicks off out international film festival that is put on annually. I asked if he was allowed to take a date (because I would honestly like to go, meet people, network and possibly get some ideas on what the fuck to do with my life) and after much beating around the bush he said no that it was by invitation only.
If I know anything about events they are almost always plus one, but this town is tiny and I have other friends in film that happened to ask if I would be going. Turns out this event is free, open to the general public, and not invite only..... so therefore I should be able to go with him.... turns out in this tiny town everyone knows everyone and I happened to hear from a birdie that he is taking the girl he likes and broke up with me for HAH.
So lets summarize, fancy film party, boyfriend said no dates allowed but is taking the girl he wishes he could have but she doesn't like him and only agreed to go as friends and he is apparently playing it up and looking way too into it....
HERE IS MY EVIL PLAN:
A friend of mine is currently raising funds for his film that he will begin shooting as soon as he can afford the basics (film insurance, equipment, etc) so I made sure he was aware of the event so he may hand out some information on his movie he is promoting to the local film community. I basically invited myself as his date, yeahhh i'm assertive! But I doubt he will mind. I am just waiting to hear back from him, I am sooooooo hoping he can make it because I fully plan to get dolled up, show up on his arm, confront my soon to be ex and cut all ties right there and then. =)
Gosh, my bitchiness astounds me at times hahaha.
