i can't believe it is already august! i ♥ the rain, monsoon season is the best

we packed up our entire office this week and i spent friday finishing packing as well as disconnecting electrical power to the cubicles for the new building, shampooing chairs and making sure everything had a sticker which indicated which room it was going to.
the office space is on the 19th & 20th floors which haven't been occupied for 15 years. it used to be a gentlemen's club they had to completely gut the place. all that to say, our new offices are beautiful and way better then i was expecting.

when we told our landlady we were going to move she begged us to stay and reduced the rent as an incentive. we are going to stay for another 6 months. this is kind of a relief, it means we don't have to move during the heat of the summer and have more time to save up for deposits + turn on fees, etc.

i desperately need a haircut. my hair is the longest its been in years. i think i will get one tomorrow.
