i finally broke down and got a stereo put in my car yesterday along with an alarm. i got sick of all the tapes i had in my car and was dying to be able to push the skip button to move to the next song.
i hate alarms and on any other car i've ever owned i haven't needed one because no one would actually want to steal the car. but my apartment complex has a bit of a reputation for cars getting broken into, stereos stolen or the whole car stolen. i think the guy who installed my alarm wired it a bit wrong though because when i start the ignition the doors lock and when i turn it off the doors unlock.
