quick points:

i got j. season one of "deep space nine" for his birthday, and i am way more excited than anyone should be to watch them. way. more. excited. we watched 2 episodes last night, and i dreamed about commander sisko.

i also received my "firefly" dvds in the mail today, and am now set for tv watching for probably a month at least. i really can't describe how excited i am about this.

things are OUT OF CONTROL at work. it is really laughable how far behind i am, and will continue to be in the foreseeable future. it took me all morning to do little things, all projects are of equal priority, and i am busy every night after work so can't even think about working late. ha! ha! oh yeah.

the UTI is under control and i am now taking 500mg of cranberry extract every day. thank you for the advice!

i have actually requested to meet with the arts group general manager so i can quit. april 1 or may 1 will be my last day. i feel ok about the work i accomplished, more of it administrative and putting things in place than actually raising a lot of money. but i laid important groundwork i think. i don't think we got the grant though. i think i would have heard by now if we had gotten it.

i did two things for j. i thought i would never do: made him a mix cd and threw him a surprise party. and there is a third thing: believing we can work through something i might have called it quits for if it had happened again a year ago. it sounds small i know, but goes to show i will continue to grow with him in ways i can't even imagine.
