what a weekend. we hit several of our social circles and had fun across the board. dinner at feast on friday night followed by a party at a pal's place in pilsen. i had definite apartment envy, but would not trade that hard to heat loft for living in lakeview.
saturday night we went to the redmoon winter pageant, and i say to you now, go if you can. it is worth is just to see their cool new space at 1460 w hubbard. they have come such a long way in the past few years. i don't know if evey advance is for the better, but that is another entry for another time. i am in some strange way proud of them, and encouraged, inspired. plus i have seen the director of the show naked many times. no dirty reason, i just stage managed for them a few years ago, and he likes to be naked!
and late saturday night we did something so fun and so dirty i can't even talk about it here. wow.
and sunday night we watched 'angels in america' i spent the evening overcome by an incredible feeling of well being and love. i am not sure i could ever properly express to my friends how much i cherish them or how lucky i feel to have them in my life. they intentionally and willingly love unconditionally, every day. it's amazing. and sitting around with them last night, having an amazing meal, watching a movie and drinking wine, my honey by my side...nothing better.

In my warped imagination, I always imagine you and your honey as SG's version of the "lov-ah" couple from the SNL skit.
Its ironic that the best Actors/Oscar picture this year is on HBO but 6 hours does not an easy theatre experience make.
